We remind to all that in Italy from November 15th to April 15th it is mandatory to fit winter tires or have anti-skid devices on board. If you are stopped by the police and do not comply with this rule, high penalties are applied, the amount also change according to the road on which you are driving.
As an alternative to winter tires, there are both the common snow chains (like our Blue Ice) and the more practical Snow Socks (like our Active Series). But be careful because both must be APPROVED, especially the snow socks must have EN 16662-1 approval to replace the chains.

The Italian specialized car magazine QUATTRORUOTE wrote recently an article in favor of snow socks which, confirming that they replace in total the chain if they are correctly approved.
